Welcome to the house. There's a piano here that needs to be retuned, several banjos hanging on the wall, and an old yellow couch. And so many black feathers eveywhere! What sort of menagerie has passed through here?
Running in from the Dining Room your brother begins to screech at you. "They've all escaped!" he cries. "What have?" you answer back, shocked. You look around the room and see that the hall passage is blocked by a mountain of empty bird cages.
Your brother begins to cry. He grips your arms with dread and terror and he whispers at you. "The crows. They've escaped. And there's one more thing." He stares at you with a manic terror and speaks four words. "The crows have eyes!"
Suddenly your brother passes out. As you move him to the couch you brush off a pillows worth of what can only be crow feathers, however as ominous as this is, nothing is as ominous as the fact that the house is completely silent. You feel as if you are being watched.
What room would you like to explore?
From here you can make your way into the [[Dining Room]] or [[Living Room]].Is food actually eaten here? Of course not! This has been turned into a board game playing table and workstation by my dad. Lucky enough to work from home during the pandemic, it's filled to the brim with state government files, a computor monitor and various boardgame accessories. The dog bed, the best gift my grandpa's terrible wife has ever given us, sits next to the swivel chair.
From here you can go to the [[Kitchen]].The TV is the main atraction in this room. It sits centered in the room across from the surprisingly comfortably leather brown couch.

[[Yard]]It's short. It's carpeted. It has no artwork on the walls and it's the hall! A popular destination, you can go almost anywhere from here, but don't hang around unless you want to get licked by the dog!
From here you can go to the[[Bedroom]], [[Guest Bedroom]], [[Bathroom]], or [[Master Bedroom]].It's a place to cook food. Never uncluttered, this homey kitchen is where most of the time not sleeping in this house is spent. Whether my mom is trying unsuccessfully to cook bland chicken, or we're eating to-go burgers instead, the family gathers in the kitchen to eat, chat and enjoy eachother's company.
From here you can go into the [[Dining Room]] or [[Living Room]].It's where the laundry happens! This claustrophobic nook used to be the living space for my cat, but he's super dead now! (But look out! Some of his fur is inevitably still floating about to surprise you with some mild allergies and stick to your freshly laundered clothes!
From here you can go to the [[Living Room]].After moving more than a full year ago, this is the resting place of the many many boxes still left unopened. Star Wars collectable mugs, family photo albums and stacks of books can all be found buried under similarly packed boxes, or on top of broken furiture we never figured out how to get rid of. There's barely enough room to squeeze the car in, but at least it's freezing cold!
From here you can go to the [[Yard]].It doesn't get the most natural light, and the dim light in the center of the room doesn't help much either. However, the hideous lamp in the shape of an elephant tusk, popcorned textured and gray, sheds enough light to reveal the relatively cozy bed and overstuffed closet.
From here you can go into the [[Hall]].Nearly the same as the bedroom, this room is a mirror version, except it recieves somehow less light from both the outdoor and the overhead room light! Not to worry though, as the Costco floor lamp is doing its duty, illuminaiting the room to reveal the wall of board games acquired from years of collecting.
From here you can go to the [[Hall]].The bathmat is too thin, but the bathroom itself is clean. A large mirror stretches for most of the wall. There are no decorations aside from a succulent that dried out a year ago.
